The crop was an abun dant one. Army worms have Invaded the ranches along the highway south of Phoenix and are doing heavy damage to gardens and alfalfa. O. Carey says the most effective way to combat them Is to surround garden with t ditch of running water. Fred Barneburg will finish his hay ing this week and will bind some grain for threshing. Rev.
