Sims and Roy Chan, who will be opposed by J. Edmlston and Dr. Harold B. Olllls, number one and two men for the local team. The Coos Bay team will probably furnish the only real competition for the Medford club in southern Ore gon tournaments. Medford. having defeated Grants Pass and Klamath Falls, has more than an even ohance for the title. Hopes of the local outfit were strengthened with the arrival of John Reddy, star on the Gonzaga teams snd one of the mainstays on the Medford team last year. Reddy has returned from the university for the summer. Number three position on the Med ford team will be held down by either Reddy, Butler, Patton or Garfield, the choice probably being given to Butler, undefeated this year. In the doubles Marshfleld is par ticularly strong. GUlls and Edmls ton will play number one and But ler and Oarfleld number two. Reddy and Patton will be the third doubles team. Seven singles and three doubles matches will be played. As a apeclal feature. Alder brook school closed May 10 with a picnic dinner which owing to the inclement weather, was held In the school house, and was en Joyed by the pupils, parents and patrons of the school.
