(AP) Although farm wages are the lowest they have been in Illinois since l&ll, hired labor costs are still relatively higher than prices on most farm products, says R. C. Rosa. University of Illinois agri cultural economics specialist. As a consequence, he says, farmers are hiring as little labor as possible and adjusting the cash expenses thru this means.
