Persist PERSIST, May 4. (Special) The dance given at Harvey Morgan's, April 30, was well attended In spite of the rain and bad roads. Medford was well represented by Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lewis, who supplied the music. A lovely time was reported. Mr. and Mrs. B. C. Zlmmer and wee daughter are visiting Mr. and Mrs. Ash for a week or two. Mildred Young started driving the school bus May 2, as Ervln Hutchi son Is now resuming work with the forest service. Victor Peterson and sons, Dore and Orval, Mr. and Mra. Zlmmer, Mrs. Hutchison, Mr. Schermerhorn and Dorothy Ash left April 28 for the hills. They camped at Sunshine camp over night and hiked to Needle Rocks next morning. They report ed 15 feet of snow in places at the Rocks. The party returned Friday. Ervln Hutchison, Harvey Morgan and Emery Moore graded the road Saturday as far as the Sturgis ranch.
