Immediately following, a team of players from Williams Creek will play the new nine recently organized by H. H. Farley In Jacksonvlle. Incuded In the members of Uie new team recently organized as result of dlssentlon In the Jackson ville organization, are Dr. H. B. amis, Bay and Chuck Ward, Paul Hess, Donald Dorothy and Bud Relnk lng. At a meeting of the Eagles lodge held Friday evening. Pat Shay was chosen manager of the team which will take the place of Eagle Point in the Rogue River valley league. In the Eagles' lineup will be Wild Bill Kanaato of Ashland, who has Just returned from Oakland where he tried out as pitcher with the Oaks, coast league team. The Eagles will have a practice game this afternoon on the Jackson school grounds with players from their own group. PHILLIES. 5 TO 0 VOLLEY BALL AT The preliminary volley ball tour nament was held at Howard school Friday afternoon. T.he Howard school board, patron and teachers made moat able hosts, and the grounds, play equipment and ball ground furnished all that the visiting school could have desired In the way of amusement. Six team played out for privilege ot the final entry on field and track day. The teams were as follows: Independence, Antlooh, Bellvlew, Shady Cove, West Side, and Howard. Shady Cove and Howard team won (or placement In the game at the fair grounds on the morning of April 33rd. Alva Law and Mr. Oulnlvere WoCoy were referee. WELCH IN POSSESSION OF RACE MOTOR AGAIN The Joinson Seahorse 93-horse-power motor belonging to "Dutch" Welch, which was stolen here last fall, is In his possession again, after he posted redelivery bond on It at the sheriff's office yesterday. The motor was taken from the Crater Lake Automotive company and shipped to Kalispel, Mont., from southern California.
