Two office rooms which adjoined the former dining room on the south, have been added to th floor space and are now occupied by a fine horse shoe lunch counter and fountain with 27 comfortable stools. Philip pine mahogany wu used for fixtures throughout the establishment. The walls are finished In Ivory and light brown shades, contrasting beautiful ly with the dark furniture and floor covering. Two wide, curved archways sepa rate the main dining room with its 10 booths, from the adjoining lunch and fountain section. ILu Myers Had Charge of Painting and Decorating Valentine's Cafe Vic Meyers Playing At Show and Dance In Medford Tonight At 8:15 this evening, Vic Meyers and his famous COiumbla Recording orchestra of Seattle, will be presented on the stage at the Holly theater. In conjunction with the regular screen progrcm featuring "Alias the Doc-tor." Vie and his mighty dance band will play for the dance at the Orl ental Gardens tonight, having been engaged for the occasion by Dom Provost. Meyers has won fame throughout the country by bis wonderful dance muslo and his recent mayoralty cam paign In Seattle. In his campaign he contended the mayor should be 'maybe and perhaps" man Instead of a "yes and no man. He express ed the belief that Oregon Is a great agricultural state and can raise as good corn as Iowa "the only differ ence being that you eat one and drink the other." Lift Load Restriction. SALEM. (AP) The state highway department today announced all restrictions on loads other than that provided by law were lifted from trucks over the Pendleton Kamela section of the old Oregon trail. . Freese, research baker for the Formay division of Swift and Company, spends his time developing new uies for Formay, the blended shortening recently introduced into the Northwest by that company. Now he's discovered the "holeless doughnut." He achieved it by dropping a msrischino cherry into the middle of a doughnut and allowing it to seal itself in as it fried in Formay.
