Mr. and Mrs. Glen Le moved Wed nesday to Williams Creek where they will live on part of the Dr. Jenkins ranch. Chester Moore returned home Sun day from Waldo where he had work with the forest service during the summer and fall. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Frefun of Butte Falls district visited at the Fred Bartley home this week. Mr. and Mrs. George Backes who lost their home by fire Sunday will rebuild soon. They are reshlngllng their wood shed and garage and will live there this fall. Royal Neighbors met at their hall Tuesday for a social evening. Mrs. Lenora Brocll. district deputy of Ash land met with them and outlined her plan for thlB year's work. Games were enjoyed and refreshments served. Mrs. Anna Coffman and Mr. and Mrs. Vernle StephenBon and family motored to Copper Sunday where they spent the day at the Robert Watklns home. Mr. Walter Bell and family left by auto for Wilmington, Calif, this week where they will visit Mr. Bell and stay during the winter. Johnston, high school In structor of Rogue River, accompanied his civics class to-Jacksonville Wed nesday to look over the museum and antique shop. There were twenty-one students who enjoyed the all-day trip. Missionary soolety of the Presby terian ohuroh met with Mrs. Jim Forties Tuesday afternoon with about 15 ladles attending. The study of Alaska and India wa enjoyed after which refreshment were served. Mrs. Cora Blxby will entertain the society next month. John Bowdlsh ha traded for prop erty on Losler Lane and will move there this week. They lived on the place formerly owned by Mary Hurst the past year and won many irienas. Don Smith and Wilma Oar man were married Saturday and will live with the bride's father. All Butt Fall teachers attended the Institute In Medford Monday. It was a play-day for the children Willi Carson and family have re turned to Butte Falls, after three year spent In Kansas. Mr. Ella Westerland and sister. Mrs. Otis Crawford, Mrs. Tlerott and Mrs. Youngs were guest at th Carson home Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Jackson and Mrs. Harry Young and Patty have gone to Oakland for two weeks. Mr. and Mr. Frank Boardman of Prospect spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe Larson. Ruth Carson 1 In school here again. She has been in Kanss three years. Glen Pruett has been ill with ab scessed tonsils for several day. He Is staying in Medford. Work started on the fish hatchery this week. Earl Wvmqre Is working at th fish hatchery. Billy Spencer returned to Butte Falls after attending school a short time In Medford. Dick Carson entered th fourth grade Wednesday. The grade school will have a party next week.
