Tuesday Judge MoNary sentenced
Joe Bevanda and Charles Graff, who
were convicted at the recent federal
court term In Medford on liquor
violation charges In connection with
the- operation of the Blanco Hotel
and Joe'a place at Marahfleld.
Bevanda wae sentenced to atx
months at the Fort Lewis road camp,
and Oraff was given a four months'
Jail sentence. On another Indict
mont .Bavanda was sentenced to tlx
months, the sentences to run con
currently. The case against Helen
Bevanda. Jointly Indicted with Be
vanda, was dismissed at the Med
ford court term.

appeared at his cabin SMurday night

claim that Walter received a cut on
the head and blackened eyes thru
