Levy, fig. and Ethel Levy, 63, re cently bound over under 3000 bonds eaeh on a possession charge, to the United States court authorities. The couple were Indicted by the federal grand Jury at Portland Saturday. They were arrested on the highway near Medford on September 5, with 50 gallons of moonshine In their pos session and charged with Its trans portation. PLAN CHANGE FOR E Action haa not been taken aa yet by the Inland Empire Hotel associa tion to bring about more extensive tourist travel on the United Statea highway. No. 99, W. M. Among the plans formulated was that of changing the name of the Pacific highway to the National Parks highway, a practically all at the park along the Paclflo coast are reched on this route. MORE PUPILS RETURN TO BOOKS THIS WEEK Thirty new pupils had enrolled In the Medford schools at noon today and many were filing Into the senior high school this afternoon, according to reports from the high school or flee. The total enrollment this morning -had reached 3473, an Increase of 80 over last Friday. Many more are ex- peated to return to studies when the fruit Is harvested.
