Visits Sister James Pring of Fort Wayne, Ind., arrived Thursday to visit his sister, Mrs. P. A. Steward. En route to Medford, Mr. Prlng, who is past 80. visited the Grand Canyon, and also in San Francisco. Home from Coast After spend ing the week it Brookings and Bin don, Mr. and vlrs. Klnmathltes Pass Kvams According to an Associated Press dispatch from Salem, Earl F. briKlfiel of Klamath Falls and L. Orth Sisemore. Fo:t Kiamath, were two of the successful candidates for the Oregon bar, pac ing their state bar examinations last July. They will be admitted to the bar by the Oregon supreme court. Forty-four out of 103 applicants suc cessfully paswd :he examinations. The number of fillures, 59, was de clared larger than the average .n these examinations. Turnbull., Train Kills 31 Sheep A flock of Sheep belonging to Clyde Walker of this city broke through the femes on the Walker ranch near town Tues day evening and got on the Southern Pacific right-of-way where they were struck by a freight train, killing 21 of .the flock and injuring five others so badly that they had to be killed Mr. Walker had aoout 80 head if sheep in the flock, many of them being spring lambs, and the accident was very costly for him. Gold Hl'.l News. HATT1E RAGSDALE DIES NEAR TRAIL Hattle Ragsdale passed away at her home in the Trail district, Saturday morning at n early hour, fter an ill ness of short duration. Mrs. Ragsdale was born at Trail, Oregon, April 8, 1884. She was a woman of fine Christian character, a wonderful mother, and cared for tenderly by her. children. She is very well known in the Rogue River valley, having lived here all of her life. Hattle Dawson was united in mar riage to Jesse Rapsdalo at Trail, Ore.. In May, 1900, and the following chil dren were born to this union, all of whom survive : Claude Alfred, John Elvin, Jesse Wllmer, Benjajmin Wes ley, Franklin Levi, Glenn Everett, Charles Burton and one daughter Rena Mabel. Other survivors include her husband, Jesse Ragsdale, two brothers, Elmer and Ira DawBon of Emmett, Idaho, and Eagle Point, Ore., sisters, Mrs. Rena Gregg of Prospect, Mrs. Nellie Thomas of Drew. Ore., and three grandchildren, her mother. Mrs. Laura E. Diaz of Tolo, Ore. Funeral service will be conducted from the Perl Funeral Home Sunday at 1 o'clock p. m Rev. John C. Stille officiating.
