Very Young Set To Leave Beach Sands For Home Among very young folk who will return from the beach this week are Julie and Harlow Carpenter, children of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred S. V. Carpen ter and Nancy Clark, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Clark, who have been vacationing at Qearhart. The children are expected to arrive from Portland Tuesday. Nickersons Feted At Lovely Dinner Given By Roberts Mr. and Mrs. O. M. Roberts were hosts Monday evening at dinner fet ing Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Nlckerson of Pasadena, who are guesta of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred 8. V. Carpenter. Covers were placed for sixteen. Several other charming affairs have been given for the pleasure of the Nickersons during their stay in Medlord. Voorhies Entertain Guests From South Wednesday Evening Colonel and Mrs. Oordon Voorhies were among jhosts at charming dinner parties of the past week given in compliment to Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Nlckerson of Pasadena, Cal., who are houso guests of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred S. V. Carpenter. Colonel and Mrs. Voorhies enter tained Wednesday evening, inviting 12 guests to their home. Smiths Will Leave Tomorrow For Iowa Mr. and Mrs. Sidney S. Smith and sons, Clydo and Stanley, will leavo Medford tomorrow by motor foe Washington, Iowa, w.here they plan to reside. The Smiths formerly lived In the eastern city. They will be greatly missed here, having played a prominent part In social as well as sports activities of the city. Their sons are also popular with members of the younger set. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Denman, welcome additions to Medford's young married set, were the Inspiration on Monday evening for a party given by Miss Emily Brown at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Frazer Brown, Games and stunts were enjoyed during the evening with many prizes awarded the winners. A special gift was presented the honor guests.
