PRISON SENTENCE
AWAITS BENNETT
IN ASSAULT CASE
Frank Bennett, logger and mar
ried man, found guilty by a Jury
Saturday night, after nearly eight
hours deliberation, of a statutory
offense . Involving a 15 year old
high school girl, will be sentenced
a .week from today by Circuit
Judge II. D. Norton. The law pro
vides a' prison .term of not less
than three year, nor more than 20
years.

Saturday night shortly after the
verdict was returned, that an ap
peal to the state supreme court
would be tuken in Bennett's behalf.
