The dance will bo held in the small hall of the Natatorium and will bo preceded by numerous dinner parties now being arranged by members of the local college crowd. Arrangements are being made to entertain "5 couples. The committee completing plans for tho dance is composed of Mrs. Robert Hart, general chairman; Mrs. Don Newbury, decorations; Mrs. Jack Garrett, tickets; Mrs. Emerson Merrick, music; and Mrs. Wm. Covers were placed for eight on the table, decorated with many iary blossoms, Southerners Enjoy Tennessee Program Mosdames Pottinger, Kry and Satchwell entertained the Dixie club Saturday. February 7 at the home of Mrs. Pot linger on East Jackson street. Mrs. Satchwell had charge of the program which consisted of studies from Tennessee and was sponsored by those members whose homes were from that state. Mrs. 3riggs reviewed "Green Pastures" by Marc Connoly. Refreshments were served by the hostesses. Norris and lis ter of Mrs. Itinatiarger became the bride of Mr. Wilford Jeter of Etna. Cal.. son of Mrs. .1. It. Morgan of Yreka. ! The ring ceremony was read by ! Hev. W. It. Eaton, pastor of the First Baptist church, before a bower of ferns and potted plants. The bride was lovely in a gown of turquoise blue crepe and wore a corsaKo of rosebuds and lilies of the valley. Her sister, Miss Lois Norris, was he: maid of honor and was also attired in blue and wore a corsage of pink sweetpeas. Mr. Uinabarger was the groom's at tendant. The ceremony was followed by a buffet wedding breakfast for which the table was deeo rated ith sweetpeas, ferns and pink tapers. Tables for the occasion we-ro tastefully arranged with a lovely valentine dall for centerpiece, sur rounded with tapers and small val entines, which served as place cards. Sprays of smllax and a red carnation as favor at each place completed the decorations. The latter were the gift of Mrs. Edna Isaacs of the local club. During the luncheon a program of music and readings was pre sented. Airs. C. O. Larlson Band a solo and each mem tier was call ed upon for a valentine reading. The luncheon closed with commun ity singing. following luncheon bridge was enjoyed with prizes going to Me dames Gray, Seeback and Cornell. The party was arranged by tho officers, Airs. K.-O.
