Plead Tuesday.
The grand jury at 3:30 this
afternoon returned an Indictment
against James C. Kingsley, alias
J. C. Adams. cliargiiKt him with
first degree murder, lor Ills admit
ted slaying of Sam I'rescott, Ash
land policeman.
Kingsley wus arraigned, nnrt will
enter a plea in the morning before
Circuit Judge II. D. Norton. Her

The Jackson county grand jury,
J. J. Skinner, foreman, this morn
ing started Its Investigation into
the slaying of Sam I'rescott, Ash
land police officer, January 24, by
James C. Kingsley, alias J. C.
Adams, who In a signed statement
