Re ceipts were light and demand un usually good, promising a good clean-up of fiesli supplies. Egg market opened easy, receipts greater than demand, sales forced at irregular prices. Pacific coast extras a cent lower at New York was a weakening factor on the shipping side. Country meats and poultry were steady except for a cent decline on medium weight hens, in oversup ply; quote: 14 to la cents a pound.
