The orchestra mem bers, directed by V. Wilson Wait, have atso been concentrating on the orchestrations for months ami arc now ready to entertain the southern Oregon public with ono of the most unusual programs, filled with religious feeling, ever presented In this city. The public is asked to exert as much effort in supporting the ora torio as the cast and directors have in preparing it, to assure Medford of future musical pro grams. In connection with tho presenta tion of tho Messiah tho theatre will show on tho screen, "A Pil grimage Through tho Holy Iand," an interesting travelogue of Hibli enl scenes which mkls to tho relig ious beauty of the oratorio. GIRLS LEAGUE 10 STAGE PARTY FOR LESS FORTUNATE Children In the Medford gram mar schools who would not other wise have a very pleasant Christ inas, are being entertained at the senior high school tomorrow after noon by members of the Girls' league. Girls will go to the four schools after the children in cars, accom panied by members of tile Tiger! Guard. They will alo be taken j to their homes following the en- tertuiiiment. j A program, to Include two selec tions played by the Girls' league o re best ra, a rea ding by M a x 1 lie Hagen. and a tap dance by Jane Antlo will be given for tho chil dren. Kaeh child will also be given a toy as well as candy and nuts. A Christmas tree will be placed in the gym, ami Santa Clans will give out the gifts. Members of the Roys' association aided in supplying the gifts. In the evening tho members- of tho league will have a party, rum mage sale and bazaar. Tho G. A. A. also is cooperating in the sales. Kaeh class will put on a short skit, and dancing, with music by the Girls' league orchestra will bo en joyed. Members of tho orchestra are Louise Osenbrugge, Helen Wilson, Margaret and Winifred Warner, and Mary Chambers.
