Chancellor Commander B. It. ilarwood is looking forward to a record attendance. The building has been remodeled providing storage room for pro perty, ami lockers for en oh organi zation meeting in the -hu tiding, club rooms and an enlarged dining room.. A dedication will be held In tho fall. Talisman lodge was organized in Medford October 16, 1SH0 wfth the following original officers: Edward P. Greene, chancellor commander; .Peter. Henderson, vico chancellor; Clarence I. Hutchison, prelate; Jesse 13.. Knyart, keeper of records mid seal; Herald U. Lumsden, mas ter of finance; Charles Damon, master, of exchequer; L. France, master-iit-arins; John ,W. Curry, inner guard; F. W. France, outer guard und Francis Fitch and Chas. W. Welters, past chancellors. Continued Grow tit Talisman lodge has been contin uously growing since Its organiza tion, having made several moves, each time to larger quarters. Talisman lodge has owned the fol lowing properties: ProperLy at Sth and Central now occupied by the Jackson Hotel and the Montgom ery Ward Battery Shop; property at Gth and Holly now occupied by tho new Holly Theatre building; property . at Sth and Oakdale (which it still owns) now occupied by the Medford Miniature Golf Course and the property recently purchased at Sth and Grape. On August 1, 1907 Talisman temple No. 40. Pythian Sisters, was organized with the following orig inal officers: M. E. C, Ida Scher 111 or horn; manager, 10 no la Hamil ton ; protector, Hcna Hubbard; E. H., Gertrude Weeks; E. J., Enola Hay; .M. of H. & C, Huida Olm Htead; M. of F., Florence Butler; 0. G., Minnie Lug; past chief, Nellie McGowan. This prominent auxiliary to the order has also flourished nnd prospered nnd greatly assisted the knights in worthwhile accomplish ments. Present officers are: M. E. C, Theresa Koehne; manager, Maxine Ferg; protector, Lulu Fisk; E. S., Chloe Whlllock; E. J., Minnie B. Heine; M. of U. & C, Mary Webber; M. of F., Katie Judge; O. G., Hormine Klein; past chief, Olive Gaylord. Hunk Organized In 1M4 the Uniform Hank was organized with Everett G. Trow bridge as captain. This is the mili tary department of the order. Talisman lodge has no Uniform Hank nt present. On November 19, 1919 Fuhat Burkan Temple No. 2U4, Dramatic Order Knights of Khorassan was organized and installed by Abd-Uhl-Atef Temple No. 117 of Port-, land, with Deputy Imperial Prince W. J. II. Clark in charge. There were. f25 candidates In this class, one of tho largest fraternal classes to bo initiated in Medford. The issue, dated Juno, Ktiifi, reveals that Copco was one of tho prime movers in securing tho J'acific coast ah mall which is serving such a useful purpose to day. The entire edition entitled "Air Line Delivery," was devoted to the subject of the air mall and the need for a Pacific coast ser vice. Copies w ero distributed throughout the west and In addi tion, the local offices of the Cali fornia Oregon Power company wrote scores of loiters to chambers of commerce and other interested organizations on tho coast enlisting their support in securing tho first air mail service.
