Beun and two sons of Seattle are spending part of their vacation visiting his brother, L. E. Bean, near Bead Indian soda springs. Mrs. U A. Wilkinson of Dead Indian soda springs reports that about 100 cars with 500 people vis ited tho camp ground and springs the Fourth. Quite a number re mained over until Sunday after noon. Several from Lake Creek went io Dead Indian also; several others went to McCullister's or Finn lake. Miss Hazel Davies and Wallace Ilagsdale wero bridesmaid and best man for Ivan Davies and Nancy Hagsdale, who were married in Medford Thursday. Tho foursome spent the week end at the Raga ilule ranch and Dead Indian. Mr. and Mrs. Davies expect to make their homo in Dorrls, Cal. Wm. Almy, Fritz Peck and Mr. Conn ley .spent the week end at Crescent City enjoying the Fourth celebration there. Mt. Shell, an old-time resident of this district, was looking over the country Monday afternoon, after several years' absence. "While playing Saturday evening, WamJa Wyant fell on a sharp stick, cutting her knee. She was taken to town where several stitches wero taken.
