Mr. Jaqua was born at Napoleon, Ohio, April 11, 1868. He married Lillian Rose, at Flndley, Ohio, June 15. X'J2, and to this union was born one son, Cbiren; who survives with the widow and one grandsort, James Hall. Jr.; alrio two sisters, Mrs, J. P. "Vein acker of Mobile, Ala., nnd Mrs. Mlhda Chapman of Beverly -Hills, Calif., and two brothers; Lester K. and Guy 1. Jaqua of Detroit, Mlch The' family ; were" 'residents ' o' Mobile, Ala., for nine' years, com ing to Medford 15 years ago. ' He was a prominent member of Talis man lodge No. 81, knights, of Pythias and Woodmen, of v the World, secretary of Fuhat Burknn temple, D. O. K. K. and elder of the Pres'byteiiari church, and .was a man of fine Christian 'character. Mr. Jaqua was a wonderfully sklll4 ful ' cabinet maker and his work graces many of the homes ot this community and his church.
