ed. Among the surprises of the
show we're going to list the acro
batic tap dance given by Douglas
Fox and Da Noro tlilliland's In
terpretation of tho love number,
"Take Time to Bo Happy," sung
by William Kirkpatrlck. Because
we didn't know, In spite of all
we've heard, that Medford really
as natural as the tired and over
would evoke so many encores
from an Intelligent audience. We
only wish there had been more.
Hoctor Fox, who played the
part of Danny, tho office boy, who
would have preferred to keep his
feet on the desk all the time, also
made his local debut last night.
He has participated In amateur
theatricals In Portland and they
trained him well up there.
To get down to the old favor
ites Jo Murray Hostel was quite
as anturnl as 'tho tired and over
worked business 1 woman as she
has often been In more vivacious
parts. Versatility Is to bo added
to the many qualities for which
she has been admired on the
stage. After she got her feet on
the desk tho rest of the office
force, didn't have a prayer.

n rock quarry noar here.
Tho cause of the explosion was
not . determined, but the opinion
was advanced by other workmen
that the dynamite exploded while
