NOW SOLVfD Swollen Glands Reduced Without Operation The afoovn atiitoment Is not ex nKKcratcd, or cxIiavnKant by' any mesiiiB, but simply conveys to yon just what vnst numbers of people say. The claims muclo In behalf of Chiropractic adjustments are founded upon resultB, consequently we have no hesitancy In setting forth tft facts. ,,.. Goitre. ' There are prolinbly few condi tions that present a greater degren of discomfort and l'ear in the minds of botli men und women than Coilre, or enlargement of the thy roid gland. The gland Is slluatcd In the base of tho nock, ntlached to the upper rings of tho trachea. It Is hl-lobed, . connected by a smallar lobe called the Isthmus. All of which is cover ed by a veiy thin connective areo lar tissue which sends in its fibres, subdividing tho gland Into Irregu lar masses. The gland is supplied by a dense plexus of capillaries and nerve fibres. There are many UindH of Inco ordinations affecting the thyroid gland and have been named as fol lows: Fibrous Goitre, Parenchyma' tous (ioltre. Cystic Cloltre, Vascular tioitro nnd Kxopthalmic Coitre. In the Parenchymatous form the en largement is smooth, nlfccling a part or all the gland. This is sim ply a condition .wherein there are more ' cells being developed than are needed. The Fibrous Goitre is usually large In si.o and Is hard, nodular being composed of con nective tissue. Cystic Goitre There Is a disten sion of tho follicles Willi a fluid, and usually presents a, small or largo'round uwolllllK. Vascular Goi tre Due to the dilation of the blood vessels and a hyperemic con dition of the gland, resulting from tho lack of proper motor function in the blood vessel walls, permit ting them to loso their elasticity. Chlropraotlc. Hoar In mind that every organ lit your body has a deriulte duty and In order to bo healthy we niusi have these organs, and they In turn, must bo healthy to function properly. All forms of goitres are quite familiar to the Chiropractor for tho reason that people who havo them liavtj tried nearly every other moth od of having them removed. Your Chiropractor will mnka a digital examination of your spine and after having located the cause of the goltro, adjusts il, and the large neck will be soen to Riadual ly roturn to Its normal shape and slse. ... Pressure on N-rvcj Causes Goitre. Your Chiropractor with his skill ed Bcnse of touch locates the cause of disease. The causo is due to tho nerves being passed upon, over which flows a current of life force from tho brain to tho gland. This nerve originates in tho brain and follows down the spinal cord through the spinal column. Tim spinal column is composed of small bones (vertebrae) that arc mov ublo, and the nerve trunks pass out from the spinal cord through small openings uelwcon these little hones tvertobrae). These small bones slip out of Ihoir regular positions and press upon tho nervo Hunks, and this pressure docreasea or cuts, oft' the normal life force upon which tlu thyroid gland is dependent In or der to he healthy and function properly. When the pressuro Is re moved from the nervo trunk by Chiropractic' adjustments the gland returns to normal. You may consider ' that these statements regarding Chiropractic adjustments are strong and em phatic, hut our success Willi goitre, as well as other forms of disease which baffled other methods of healing, entirely warrant our cm ' phasls. " When you place your case In the hands of a Chiropractor It will be one of tho best investments you havo over made. You are not go ing to experience tho slightest Hi effects and overythlng Is in your favor. Many people havo been car ried to tho great beyond because they did not know el, or try. The Home Economics club has been very active the Inst month fiirnlshinK the new kitchen, deco rating the main hall and quilting. The ball looks very uttractive with its decorations in blue nnd gold crepe paper draped from the center ehundellei'H to each wall. It is also hoped that this will aid the acous tics of the hall. The ladies met last Wednesday in the hall to work on the quilts, one being already finished. Tea was served by Mrs. Severance and a delicious marble angel food cake was brought by Mrs. Anna Hartley. Another meeting will be held in the hall this Wednesdny afternoon at 2 o'clock.
