It was estimated that the Win ter Nells crop would total -'I'd cars. The spring estimate was !iS5 cars. Last year 307 cars of Win ter Nolls were shipped. A reKrt was ului read showini; that the 1929 pear crop would bo 80 per cent of last year's crop, which was the Bprlng estimate. It was also reported that tho general picking uud packing of the Newtown apples would sturt next week. In the Gold Hill district the picking of Newtown apples is al ready under way. There has been a ' decrease In fruit shipments the past week and up to noon today, but 05 car :u' listed for shipment today.
