(Spl. ) A record -break ins crowd visited the lake Sunday ami more people took advantage of tjie nu merous hoi-.t excursions than at any time this season. The trail to the lake was crowded with parties of people tfoin?; and enmint; from early in the mornhm until the cool of the evening. A cool breeze con tinued to blow throughout the day, which afforded considerable com fort to the hundreds of visitors. Acordintc to the management, yesterday was the largest day on the boats of the sej.son. The loan trip around the lake seemed to be the most popular as each trip f o u n d the la rg e Sri-passenj-.-r launch nearly filled. Maurice Spautz spent Sunday vis iting with friends at the lodge. He returned to Medford in the cool of the evening. Dick Heed of Klamath Kalis spent the afternoon visiting with numerous schoolmates employed at ;he lodge. .Mr. and .M rs. Stanley S. Smith of Medford spent Sunday enjoyin;; the cool breezes from the lake. Dr. and Mrs. K. IS. IMckel and n party of friends motored from Med ford to Crater Lake on Sunday and returned after sundown. ..Miss Kern Hutchison was among the numerous Medford visitors tit the rim Sunday. Miss Margery Cave and Hill .Pur din motored to Crater Lake from Medford early Sunday mornnig and returned late in the afternoon. Miss Dorotha Hlddoll, with a group of friends from Met! ford, spent Sunday at Crater Lake. Miss Eva Xealon and Moure Hamilton of Medford drove to Cra ter Lake Sunday.
