A son's wife, Mrs. Harold Merrill, ulsb arrived re cently for a visit with her litis-1 band's people. These guests, with ' Mr. and Mrs. Cluy Cloud and their two children, Lawrence and Thel ma. had gone out with Mr. ami Mrs. Merrill for the day. J. I'. Dodge and Hons were called to care for the body and Tuuis Dodge accompanied by Har ry Hosier, made the trip to the lake. , Funeral arrangements have not yet been announced. Tho survey -will include all sec tions of the valley and. will deal principally Willi Irrigatlili drain age, alihougli tho natural drainage will also bo studied. A drainage map of the valley will be made. Tost wells will be driven in .vari ous sections. The work will enn 1 1 n ue through the winter to study rainfall drainage.. It is probable that from the survey the city will get a line on the drainage habits of Bear creek. The county court has agreed to bear the expense of the survey up to $1000 and will provide an auln, If iHisslblc, for the use of the "en gineer. I .
