Hurlburt. was arrested at Hlllsboro
on a non-support complaint issued
here June 20 by Deputy District At
torney Hommersley, who said Mrs.
LaKollette was in "great need.' The
complaint charges failure to sup
port four children, ages 6, 8, 10
and !4.
Earlier this year Mrs. LaKollette
filed a divorce suit and Presiding
Judge Morrow issued an order for
ljaFollette to show cause why he
could not support the family pend
ing trial of the action.
LaFollette, according to the
Sheriff, could not be located.
The senator will be returned to
Portland.

dairy exchange decided to suspend
trading in butter and eggs for
a period of 00 days and eliminate
official quotations for that period
of time. The action Was taken
after officials charged many
abuses had crept in from within
and without tho exchange. Of
ficials said abuses consisted of
lack of maintaining uniform prices
with some members quoting one,
price and others a different one.

several soft spots scattered thru
