There will be several features of. a public character. Among them are the con ferring of the decoration of chival ry at the Patriarch Militant or Canton branch Monday evening at the armory. The gcueral public Is Invited to witness this csremonlal. Following this .will be a dance, free to everybody. The Canton and ladles-auxiliary members will, how. cver, withdraw to the Elk's temple for a strictly military ball, as re quired by the mandates of the or der. ; Other Odd Fellows and Re bekahs will remain with their guests and do. the honors of the occasion.. . Is i the grand street parade - Wednesday evening. In this column will be every Odd Fellow and , Bcbokah In attendance at the scsston'and every member from adjacent towns who can be present. There will be several bands in this march and a number of floats for the best of which prizes are to be awarded. These floats are not confined to Odd Fellows organiza tions. An invitation has been ex tended to other orders and busi ness firms to participate, and a number have signified their desire to do so. The parade will form at the pub lic library, march down Main street to Bartlett, thence down Bartlett to-the armory, after which the members will proceed to their var ious halls for the work outlined for the evening.
