Al though the charter was Issued Oct. 28 18110, the Commandery was not organized until January 7, 1891. Tho well-preserved document was signed by tho Grand Commander of that period, 11. P. Earhart, and by all tho other grand offlcors from Commander to Recorder. Charter members were Thomas O. Knamost W. 11. Atkinson, D. It. Mills, W. V. Carter, J. H. AVIek, P. W. Paulson, It. S. There were no dues for several years, in come from fees defraying all ex-1 penses. The fees of. Malta Commandery are now $150, and annual dues now $5. The 1929 membership is 225. !
