E YEAR'S , At its resular meeting laat night the board of directors of the Ared tbrrt Chamber of Commerce, ad vanced plans for the ensuing year and appointed committees to take care of the needs of various pro gram departments. .Plans were taken up tor the annual Chamber of Commerce home products din ner to be held in April, when a special Bpeakor will be present to make the address of the evening. The following committee mem bers were appointed: l'rograin committee, J. C. Carle, Walter Loi erette and Howard Scheffel; bud get committee, Vernon Vawter, C. A. Swlgart and K. C. Caddis; elec tion committee, A. L. 11111, A. H. Miller and llert Orr. The dlrec. tors endorsed the. proposed -Midway road, giving Sams Valley nnd Table Hock a direct route to Mcd ford and appointed Secretary C. T. Bilker to represent the chnmhor at the heoring held this forenoon be fore the county court. Plans were also discussed on a proposed ordinance to be Intro duced before the city council lo pievent Irregular arrangement of electric signs, some of which are placed in such position ns lo ob scure the signs nearby. Tho ordi nance was referred to a commit tee headed by J. C. Thompson for Investigation.
