H. .Meeker New Year's day marked the fiftieth wedding anniversary of Mr. ond Mrs. W. II. Meeker, and they were entertained at the home of their son and wife, Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Meeker on Norllt llart lett street. Mr. nnd Mrs. W. II. Meeker wero married nt Brush Grove. Iowa in 1 879 and moved to Med ford in 18IM where they have since resided, on 'coming to Medford, Mr. Meeker entered the dry goods business which has been continued these muny yeai-s, and Is now known as the M. M. Department store, under the management of his son, C. A. Meeker. Thero were uhout twenty guests present, being tho Immediate rela tives of the family. In honor of their golden anniversary they pre sented Mr. and Mrs. Meeker with gold coins and flowers.
