(ff) Dates tor the annual Oregon high school basketball championship tournament were fixed today by tho board of control of the Ore son state hiRh school athletic as sociation at the annual meetltiK hero. The proposal to have two bas ketball championships, instead of one, wub voted down, although there seemed "to he much senti ment In favor of the play which would divide the high schools of Oregon into "A" anil "1!" divis ions for tho purpose of deciding basketball titlistn. It was proposed that schools with 150 student or fewer could enter their teams tor tile "L" championship of the "A" champ ionship, but that schools having enrollments of more than 150 could enter teams only In the "A" championship. While .the aniendmont lost, a 1 committee was appointed to in vestigate its merits and report to the association at its next annual meeting. Austin K.
