It would, therefore, seem reasonable to conclude that the Medford Irrigation District should easily dispose of. tho bnhnico of this delinquent land. Supplementary to this feature of the prorahm, a lioml sell ing plan has been perfected, under tho direction of M. N. IJ.oan of this city, and 50,000 of these bonds have been sold. As the report sliows, the security behind these bonds is of the highest character. The outstanding bonded indebtedness of the distriet is only a little over $1,000,000 whereas the appruised value of the land in the district, fur below the actual market vnlne, is over five times this amount, or $5,0:20,000. The directors urge all landholders within the district to in vest in these bonds, and certainly better investments, for them, could scarcely be imagined. Kor they are not only assured as good an income as from any bond issue, but by such investment they are supporting their distriet, and thereby increasing the value of their own property within that district. doliiL'.'
