IE APRICOT SPRAY Peaches, prunes' " and nnrlcoln should . he sprayed with Hordeaux mixture for tho control of Califor nia peach blight fungus, within the near future. It is most desirable to havn this application on before the first fall ra'.n. This disease Is quite prevalent in the county and does a great deal of damage to trees of the above mentioned fruils. Apple trees affected with an thracnose should he sprayed with Jiordeaux ns soon as the crop has been harvested. The first fall rain wilL cause a spread of this disease, so if effective control is desired, application should be before the rains. Hui-ficaiix mixture 4--t-.riU is the recommended spray for the above fungus disease ami Is made as fol lows: Dissolve 4 pounds of blue. stone, slake 4 pounds of rork lime in separate containers, I lien add hotit to enough water to make up lo FiO gallons of mixture. Keep atdtntinn going until applied. Me thorough in spraying for best re sults. I.. P. WILCOX. County Agent. September 7, laL'N.
