gations to the national Republican and Democratic conventions at

Boston police have been mystified over the shooting td death of
Miss Mary Mohan, 21, cabaret singer, whoso bullet-riddled body
was found in a sand pit on a reservation within, the city limits.
Search has been instituted for John Tartar, 27, left above, taxi
driver, said to have driven with the girl to the spot with another
driver, whom he told to "take the air." The other driver walked
away from tho scene and a minute later heard a dozen shots. No
motive for tho crime is known. Tartar fled from the sand pit in
the cab. .The scene of the shooting is shov.-n bclsw.

received the Democratic nomination for governor in Indiana at the
Democratic atato convention at Indianapolis. Dailey, shown above
