upon which the warrant could
have been issued. Wilkle and
Mrs. Wilkie are staying at a local
auto camp until after Monday's
bearing.
Wilkie is still being held by

The burglars were frightened from
the drug store by

a vote of 31 to 7. There was con
siderable interest tn thin contest,
for Attorney Boggs not only ex
pected to be u candidate, for mayor
of Med ford at the coming election,
but recently declared war upon the
leaders of tho republican organiza
tion in Jackson county. According
to friends of Mr. Roc-is. he made
no campaign at all lor support, nor
did Partridge, but several frinnda
of tho latter worked hard for him.
