der the splendid leadership of Wil
son Wnlte, has come heme the
proud possessors of the cup offered
by the Kappa Kappa l'sl of the
Oregon State college for the past
two year.s in a statewide contest.
A large and very heautifiil eon has
also been offered hy Seiherlins &
l.ucas of Portland to the hand tli"
wins three of these contests. Med
foril high will own that cup if she
wins one more contest.

manently u beautiful silver trophy
in the shape of a football put up
by three. Oregon bankers if they
win out next year.
The P.-T. A. has discovered, how
ever, that no adequate display of
the many lovely trophies can he
made without a new case to house
them. Therefore, they voted, to
the joy of pupils and teachers, to
