Ladles' Sewing club met at the
home of Mrs. Cecil R. Culbertson
Wednesday. Miss York, county
demonstrator, was present. Mrs.
Wright of Brownslioro and several
ladles of Lake Creek community
were guests of the club. A very
pleasant day was spent and several
stitches for fine sewing were
shown. At noon a dinner fit to
set. before kings was Berved. The
assessormade a mint to arrive at
about the same hour with Mr. Cul
bertson and Mr. Prince. The after
noon quickly slipped away and It
was time to leave for the various
homes before folks realized the aft
ernoon was Bpent. The next meet
ing will be held at the home of Mrs.
LaVern Pech.
Mr. and Mrs. Hansen and son of
Mrownsboro and their nelce, Miss
Edris Warren of Portland, who Ib
spending a few months with them,
were callers at Lake Creek last
Monday evening.

Their Bon, Curtis, Is still In a very
critical condition and there Is very
little hope for his recovery.

bry and Messrs, Lester Newbry, Ira
Hurt and Clarence Holdridge. It
is requested that a full attendance
of tho league be present next Sun
day evening when the reports from
the convention will be given. Ira
Hart will present the first depart
ment. Esther Holdridge the second.

an account of their trip while Mr.

Foster, of Seattle, arrived Sunday
and were guests of Mr. and Mrs.
R. R. Foster. They left Tuesday
for Eureka, Cal.
