Fred Drehelm of Foots creek was very seriously injured Monday by being knocked from a load of lum ber. His collarbone, one shoulder and two ribs were broken. He woh employed at the dredge property. Oscar Shepherd, Reed Carter, Richard Scott, Principal Wilbert and others made a trip Monday night to Medford, In the Interests of the Boy Scouts. Bert Sehleigh, who has been here for three weeks in the interest of the steam shovel which was moved to the Pleasant Creek placer mine, reutrned to his home at Portland Thursday. The baseball game between our high school girls' team and Gold Hill s Wednesday, was a . very one-sided affair, our girls hav ing won with a score of 83 to 7.
