lishment of stores, gas filling sta

The further development of the
home building along this highway
may eventually lead to the estab
lishment of a regular bus lino 'on
tho highway between tho upper
Itogue and Medford. ThlH would
relieve those on the route from the
UNe of automobiles of their own
in reaching tliia resort district.
The present center of develop
ment of resort homes and smalt
ranches, which Is very noticeable,
on the Medford nnd Crater Lake
highway, lies between Kagle I'oint
and Itogue river. The inducement
for this settlement, which was for
merly all wild hind. Is the advan
tage of the Kagle, Point Irrigation
ditch, affording Irrigation. This
development is likewise noticeable
on the Hutte Falls highway, which
has a confluence with the .Medford
a till fritter ake highway above
Kagle Point nnd extends to Hutte
Falls. This highway is hard -surfaced
and practical throughout the
year ns well as tho adjoining tracts
are supplied with Irrigation water
from the Kagle Point ditch. Small
centers ami homes have sprung up
