of them a veteran of the world war,
entirely abandoned the long estab
lished trudltlons of the stage, and in
stead of writing from the standpoint
of tho recruiting office, wrote from
the standpoint of the truth and sound
druma.

strong for those who want to fight
their wars with plumed knights und
beautiful ladles, instead of with

and ask for the certification of $30,
000 additional district bonds, which
it is proposed to exchange for an
equal amount of north side bonds.
The north side and the Jordan vulley
district proper are to be merged und
tbju bonds of the former cancelled.
Representatives of the Kugle Point
district of Jackson county will ask
for an extension of one and a half
years in the state's guarantee of in
terest on the district's $-100,000 bond
issue. The guarantee is now fur
three and a half years. Five years is
the maximum allowed by law.
