'1 he purpose of keeping these sets of books in the high school Is to give the students some practical exper ience. A standard test in bookkeep ing was given last Friday. This was one of a series sent put by the Sunn Normal school in Whitewater, Wis. Those receiving the highest gr.des were: Oeorge Sllllman, 104 out of a possible 112; and Robert Redwine, 100 out of a possible 112. The stenographic department Is very popular this year. For some timer it has been the prac tice of the students in typing to take these tests.
