Film Depicts Life Of Strange Monsters If you are In search of new exper iences; If you want a new thrill; If you think the movies have exhausted their possibilities, so to the Hunt's Craterian and see "The Lost World," made from one of Sir Arthur Co nan Doyle's queer books. It's that sort of n picture. You'll be entertained, fas cinated, shocked into thinking a bit. It has been possible to put the wild It has been posslbel to put the wild imaginings of Doyle Into concrete form and bring them visually, moving and seeming to live. It is about a small party of London ers who go on an exploring expedi tion into, the wildest part of South America, and there, on an alpiost in accessible plnteau, wind the mon strous creatures In life that the pres ent civilization knows only as fossil remains. There are flesh eating dinosaurs, and the more gentl brontosaurtfW all osaurs and pterdaetyls, dreadful look ing beasts as science has recreated them for us In drawings, made from the skeletons which have been dug up from rocks where they have been en tombed for mlllllons of years, . . Doyle and the screen permit us to look on the monce more ns they lived, devastating mnsters, terrible in their size alone; frightful when they are in combat with one another, for there ore battles , between the dinosaurs themselves. ' liut while these gigantic nnd fantas tic creatures nre the chief aim of the picture, there Is built up a human story thnt holds Interest without them. In the cast ifr Wallace Ileery. Hes nle Love. Lloyd Hughes, Lewis Stone, Arthur Hoyt. The fearful force of the bolt had broken the boy's neck and shattered the tissues.. The imprint of the trunk of the tree was vividly photographed on one side of his body, and of a branch with the leaves o nthe other side.
