Two coin plaints in injunction proceedings, one in .Multnomah county and "one in Jackson county, were served on the public service commiHHion here today. In the Multnomah county case the Covey Motor Car company, the Fash ion GiiraKO and the Franklin Gar- age, nil of Portland, sock to enjoin ( the commiHHion from bringing under i its jurifldiction towing cars that arc operated by garages. . The commission ( has Interpreted the motor transporta- ! tion act passed by the licit legislature J as including incsu cars uiuuiik iiiu&v that pay fees to the state. In the Jackson county case W. S. Harnum, owner of the Med ford-Jacksonville railroad, socks to enjoin the commission from enforcing an order which would prevent liarnum from dismantling the road pending a hear ing. Harnum has already been enjoined hy the cities of Medford and Jackson ville from dismantling the road. Ho claims the road Is without the Juris diction of the commission for the rea son that It has not been operated as a common'carrler for two years.
