Tho flowers are ro maiding fresh because of tho coot weather and the entire flower hlbit presents a very commendable appearance. Mrs. Holmes, an art critic from Seattlo judged tho art exhibit and many of the pieces in the display, whirh is said to ha the largest and finest ever hung here. Miss Cowgill, who is hero from O. A. C. to judge cooked food, needle work and canned goods, is very em phatic in declaring that the needle work Is the finest exhibit she has ever seen. Mr. and Mrs. Diem of Talent have a very valuablo exhibit of Mexican drawn work in the Woman's Build ing. Tomorrow a Persian shawl, owned by the Jones brothers and valued at hundreds of dollars, will bo on display. Tho auction sale of foods held yes terday was not as successful as might have been expected, duo the incle ment weather. A. C. Niningor was in charge of this sale this afternoon, auctioneering- the food from the plat form In the merchants' building. Prun bread, baked by the Gallatin sisters, will be a feature of theso sales, which will be held each after noon after the haces.
