Out of the ten, one offender received u ' sentence of 10 days in the -ounp jail, while the fines for others ranged from $20 to each. On his plea of guilty to reckless .driving, t'nimron .Moore, local truck driver, received the 10 day Jail sen tence. His driver's license could not be suspended, as that had been done last May when he pleaded guilty to ji charge of speeding, on which he was also fined. Hender son, a former resident of .Medford, having resided here during llil'J and l!ij:i, passed away In the government hospital at Walla Walla, Wash., on Tuesday, afternoon at the age. of 'JX years. He was a son-in-law of .Mr. and Mrs. George J. Prescott. a mem ber of the Medford police 'force. Deceased was born in Massachusetts and from there he moved with hjs parents to Phoenix. Ariz... where he resided for a period of ten years and was married to Nota Prescott at Ilel grade, Mont., in 1917. At the out break of the world war he enlisted at Phoenix, Ariz., and served until the close of the conflict, lie leaves besides his wife, one child, Jack, also his father of Phoenix. Arl.. The body will arrive in Medford Thursday evening and funeral services will he held at the Conger chapel at J: 30 Kriday. Itev. K. P.
