White or Portland, is being held In the Douglas county jail pending fur ther investigation. Although the : officers aro inclined to believe that I the suspect is Joe Sanders, a transient labyrei, as lie claims, his likeness to the wanted convict is so complete that officers are .continuing their investi gation before releasing him. The man strikingly resemhles Kelly In the photograph Turnlslied by offi cers, and his scars compare closely with the description, while his weight and height are almost identical. lie is missing two teeth in front, however, while Kelly is supposed to have a lull set- of teeth, and he gives Ms age us 45, while Kelly Is 2S.
