tho Mary Duggan place, which has
been a needed Improvement since ttie
high wnter of early spring. While this
bridge has been absent a good strntch
of road was rendered entirely useless
find much complaint was heard over
tho delay made in putting in such a
necessary niece of work.
Some of tiie young ladies who are
making preparation to attend Ashland
Bummer school are Misses (lladys
Rogers, Frances Fitzgerald and Elsie
Straus.
Our school faculty for the coming
year was procured some time ago and
includes A. H. Collott, principal; Miss
Roadside of Eugene, socond high
school teacher; Mrs. East of Ashland,
Intermediate, and Miss Culey of Apple
gate, primary teacher.
. Mrs, John Hall has been busily oc
cupied with the Mrdford dentist this
week in getting considerable dentist
work done.
Mr. Scott, who hns been painfully

improvement tho last few days.

The Sams Valley Orange will bo pro
pared to Initiate several new members
at our next meeting and officers from

ance to aid us in getting along with
our Initiation for that timo.
