A fire between the walls of the Snider1' Dairy & Produce company building on North Bartlett street called the fire department to the scene about 11:30 this forenoon. The fire, which caused no -damage, is believed to have been caused by a short circuit in the wiring of the building and was quickly extinguished. Yesterday afternoon about 3 o clock the department was called to West Jackson street, where a grass fire had gotten out of control. The ffre was not large and no material damage resulted.
