The organ and voice . concert last
night at the Baptist church by Mr.
and Mrs. J. iV. Sheurer wns one thut
will linger long in the hearts of those
able to force their way into the
crowded auditorium. The Shearers
have been here before on several oc
casions, but the new program wits
pronounced by those who have heard
them as the finest yet given. They
seem to have the faculty of produc
ing music that is not only delightful
to hear, but . also that which has
definite interest and educational
value. The entertaining manner la
which these noted musicians present
their programs is a feature of the
concert and uf fords interest to those
members of tho audience who are
not musicians, but are music lovers.
It Is rare, that Medford gets'artists
of tho high standard of the Shearers
who, in addition to playing the finest
class of. music In. the most artistic
manner, get so near an audience.
