K, K. band, and the dance which Immediately followed, which were given in aid of tho fund being raised to send the band east next' summer to attend the D. O. K. K. national convention. The fine music for the dance -was furnshed ,by d. selected contingent of tho band. The concert by the band, under its director, Wilson Walte, was one of tho: host over given by that popular organization, and won much ap plause. 1 There was general regret, especially among the well versed musically, that a much larger assemblage- was not present to hear the concert of eight numbers, becauso of its genera) excellence.
