Janes, who passed away at his home in Saginaw, Mich.. November 0, will be held from the Peri funeral home on Thursday, November 1J, nt ii., Kov. K. 1'. Lawrence officiat ing. Interment I. o. O. F. cemetery. .Mr. Japes was born in lCrie, I'a., n 1S52. His boyhood was spent there, where later he engaged 1n business. He married Alice M. Dick inson, also of Krie. They removed to Hradford, Pa., in NSl. His. fit t her, ilorman Janes, was (ho first partnei't.gf James Tarr, the first pioneer in tuft Pennsylvania oil fields, and he evolved the nnmo Standard oil."
